MY STORYHi! I’m Abbey, an Australian film editor based out of New York City. I completed my undergraduate degree in Film and Screen Production at the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2019, and recently completed my Masters degree in Film Editing at the American Film Institute.
I have experience working as an Assistant Editor at a social media marketing agency, editing promotional content for new television series’ and films coming out. I am currently freelancing on short form vertical content, commercials and short films.
Most of my experience comes from editing short form narrative films. I am super passionate about telling queer, female lead stories, particularly comedy based and love anything coming of age! I’ve also recently worked in reality TV and am very well versed in the fast paced, fast turn around nature of episodic.
My short film We Met At Camp was nominated for best comedy series at the 43rd College Television Awards, official selection at San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, and I was also one of the Lead Editor’s on Abby Lee Miller’s new reality TV show, Mad House.
